Thrilled to have found this little hidden gem. Greeted by everyone being friendly and inviting. Got into our room and were very happy with how cozy and updated it was. They have put all the comfort items needed into a cozy space including mini fridge, microwave, and keurig coffee maker. After getting settled all we had to do was walk downstairs to the restaurant/lounge where we ate a nice meal over looking the lake. Boat and Kayak rentals right on property and a snowcone store, if you're into that. In the morning grab your coffee and step outside onto the full shaded deck which has picnic tables and Adirondack chairs for your relaxation, while you look at the lake and listen to the birds. This is our new go to for when we're in the area. It's charming and has a totally laid back vibe. Love everything about it.

Wonderful place to stay with a vacation feel! It’s so wonderful to SUPPORT local business too! Dustin and his staff were so kind and accommodating to my family who visited from out of state. We are grateful to have a family friendly atmosphere on the lake! Next time we will be enjoying even more of what’s to offer with kayaks and paddle boards! Thank you!

Great small motel 14 rooms or so) with excellent staff! Third time here with our boat and love it! Nothing fancy like the Ritz but cool island vibe with great amenities (clean nicely renovated rooms, boat ramp and trailer parking to start) and restaurant with good food! Love staying on the lake side because road side can be somewhat noisy but did not affect our group. Can’t wait to come back!

A charming experience. The rooms are freshly redecorate, clean and comfortable. The rooms in the rear of the updated motel overlook a finger of the lake. Your room opens to a shared covered porch with individual picnic tables and Adirondack chairs for each room over looking the water and docks. Very social atmosphere. We rented a boat for a couple of hours, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed for us to experience it. It too is over looks the docks. Truly a great experience, especially for the price to have direct access to the lake.

My wife and I found this hidden gem. We live in Virginia. We were going on a bus tour with Christian Tours out of Newton, N.C. We live 3 hrs. away from the office at Christian Tours. We always have to drive down the day before the trip. This is the perfect place to stay for the trip. We can arrive at our pickup point in about 10 minutes from Lake Norman Motel. We drove down on 10-13-25 and stayed one and met our group the next morning. Our trip ended on 10-17-25 at 10:30 P.M.. The lady at the motel called us on the phone and gave us the code to our room. We were able to check in after hours. Our room on both nights overlooked the lake channel. The room is very clean and we had a very peaceful nights sleep.The lady at the front desk was very friendly and a pleasure to talk too. This will be our motel to stay at on our next bus tour. If you are in the Lake Norman area, try this motel out. Try to get the lake front room if you can. I think you will be pleasantly surprised with this small motel.

This place was exceptional!!! Clean, affordable, stocked and very comfortable for 3 adults. Last minute trip and the motel was near our destination. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I have already recommended to all our local friends and family to refer out of owners here. My husband woke up after 1st night saying how impressed he was by a lil roadside motel. 5 stars in all categories
